Main house interior: Paint job

This house had seen a *lot* of water damage in its last home before my daughter and I rescued it from a corner of my parents' garage that once had a leak.

It took a heck of a lot of sanding and priming to bring it back to a refurbish-able condition. When we finally got it there, we spent some fun afternoons choosing fresh color schemes for each room, to keep us on track as the long progress of making the house over goes on. In this shot you see an overview, with a peek at the paint job that each room got. In the master bedroom on the second floor, you can also see some painter's tape holding in place the newly created bathroom walls. The master bedroom had to be re-thought quite a bit, but I can't abide by a house with no bathroom. Those walls eventually got hinges, so the whole entry-doorway and side of the bathroom can swing out for placing items inside.
