Off with that old paper!

(Incidentally, over the course of this renovation, I discovered over and over again that whatever glue my parents and I used back in 1979 was some gooood stuff. In spite of all the water damage, every piece of wood and every piece of paper was stuck like cement. Wish I had glues that good now!)
