luvmypoodle
Hi everyone, I decorated a cake for my niece's 4th BD on 9/10/04. I used fondant for the first time. I first bought Wilton brand fondant and did not like the taste so I found a recipe for a marshmallow fondant. It tasted great. Here is a pic. luvmypoodle
she loved the cake. I hadn't planned on Strawberry Shortcake, but when I saw a pic of one in a Wilton mag I knew that was it.

CatColorado
That looks soooo good! Where did you find the recipe for the marshmellow fondant? What are the decorative flowers and such made from?
luvmypoodle
everything is marshmallow fondant (MMF). I bought Wilton brand fondant tools ie cookie cuttere etc. at Michaels. I forget what site I found it at but I just typed in mmf recipe. Wilton has all kinds of tools, it's amazing. I just made another batch of fondant and added banana extract.... YUMMY. I will practice with it tomorrow on a small pound cake I bought.
