Hallowell
I think it was earlier today that I saw a post about making brick from pieces of sandpaper. Does anyone know and could they give a brief tutorial? It sounds like such a cool idea.

havanaholly
The actual tutorial is in three entries on page 2. I also posted a down & dirty version in another thread here. I also used them on a kitchen range surround for the Westville, a chimney in some house or other & the exterior of the McKinley (except the tower). I may have a few left... havanaholly
Thanx Holly, you're the best. I am so gonna try this. It looks like a ton of fun (bricks) You must be like me, tedium relaxes you? It's the most fun you can have without booze! (I promise this is NOT fun with it!lol) One note, if you can get a typesetter's/ printer's ruler marked in picas per inch, 6 picas=1 inch, 1:12 scale bricks work out to 1 X 3 picas; much more accurate than guesstimating the nearest 1/32" :laughbounce: When I read how to do this in Beryl Armstrong's book, I must say the idea hit me like a ton of bricks, too!
