nemosgal90
Hello all! I inherited a dollhouse from my grandmother and was curious if it was a kit or if she custom built it. Any Insight is appreciated. I can upload a pictue of it in one when I get home if needed.
havanaholly
What a glorious house, and what a good job your grandmother did with it! Some elements remind me of the Dura-Craft Cambridge and the window pediments of other house kits. Perhaps Kelly will weigh in.

Thank you, she was so creative and didnt get to do as much with her talents as I would have liked to have seen. The detail she put in it still blows me away. Every cupboard, box, container has something in it that she made. Ill be posting some pictures of the inside before it was moved and Ive been documenting everything Im doing to it. I looked up the Cambridge, I see what you mean. I image she asked my grandfather to make some modifications and it became more custom over the years. madtex1967
It is a Real Good Toys house. I believe it is the Norcross Manor version of the kit. They made several versions based on the main kit. Other versions had smaller porches, no dormers, wing additions, etc.
havanaholly
Thanks, Matt! That bay reminded me of my Dura-Craft Cambridge.
