jessiC
How would it work for 1:24 scale items, design in a 1:12 scale house. Wouldn't it just look like a huge mansion in 1"24 scale?
havanaholly
I think KathieB did something like that with her Houseboat.
FurMama
Okay I've only had a half a cup of coffee this morning and maybe I'm not understanding your question. If you are talking about using a half scale or 1:24 scale pattern to make that object in one inch or 1:12 scale yes it would be huge. It would be double. An 18"X18" square building in 1:24 would be 36"X36" in 1:12. If you mean using smaller 1:24 items in a 1:12 house it can look like child's furniture depending on the size of the room. jessiC
it just seems the rooms are too small . ( currently on the fairfield) before i get to my next house i want rooms like downtown abby lol big , high ceilings, grandeur . i thought maybe using 1:24 scale furniture in a 1:12 house would help achieve that , wondering if anyone had done that. Perhaps i need to build from scratch to get the large rooms?
chapchap73
Rooms like Downton Abbey usually means you have to build your own. If you don't have the space, you could maybe do a roombox on a grand scale.
