Busymama5
How do you take a piece of furniture from pottery barn or a local furniture store like Rooms to Go or Ashley’s furniture and make it into 1:12? Looking for online tutorials or instagrams of mini makers that do this. Thank you.
havanaholly
If the dimensions of the piece are given in the ad/ catalog, it's easy; just divide everything by 12 and round to the nearest quarter inch to scale for making a pattern on 1//4" graph paper. I scaled down a bunk bed that way:

FurMama
Not trying to dodge the request but there are soooo many blogs and tutorials online and you tube it would be impossible to list them or even know where to start. My favorites might not match yours. You really just have to search and find something that fits your style, skill level, materials available and tools on hand. Like Holly said though if a table is 4 feet long it will be 4 inches long in 1:12 scale.
havanaholly
Don't forget all the books of 1:12 furniture making plans out there, too.
