bergie
Everyone mentions threads. The contests say threads. What are threads? Is that what the topics are called? bergie
uppitycats
A topic and ite replies are referred to as "threads". This seems pretty standard throughout internet forums I've been on, not just here.
Tams
Yes, each topic is a thread.
Missymew
Lingo is always a neat subject. Recently I got a cellphone for my parents (80 and 79 years of age). Today my mum was telling me that they put their phone on the charger when they're down to 2 bars. I had to laugh, it was just a few months ago that she first used mine to talk to my sister and she held the phone about 6 inches from her ear and looking like she doubted she'd hear my sisters voice on the other end. -Susanne
havanaholly
rotflmbo! Susanne, DH & I are another couple of old farts coming late to the techno world, and there are still many, many areas we are woefully "iggerant" of. Linda, don't feel bad, we still can't figure out these pesky digicams!

I started thinking threads were those spooky ghost lines greenleaf had during October and actually tried to snag one. lol. I'm certainly not a computer nerd by a longshot. bergie So thanks .
