Selkie
I was messing around online this morning (instead of doing my work) and I ran across this new ~to me~ website for custom making your own fabrics and wallpapers called Spoonflower. http://www.spoonflower.com/about What seems nice is that you do your creating and they do the printing, giving you a higher quality end product than I can possibly make with my home printers. Wondered if anyone has used their services before? Thoughts?
otterine
Yes, I have! There used to be a feature that allowed you to take any design and resize it smaller, but they did away with that a long time ago. Now you can do that with only your own designs. The fabrics can be expensive, but you are right about getting your own design and good quality. And, it's colorfast unlike printing your own fabric at home. I made this design following a real life example and later had it printed on Spoonflower. http://www.otterine.com/blog/blog1.php/fabric-printing Scroll down to the settee fabric: http://www.otterine.com/blog/blog1.php/spring-fling-upper-deck
Selkie
Thank you Brae. I'm always skeptical when something sounds too good to be true.
Debra from Olde Cape Cod
I think this is the place that jujurodgers uses to create all her wonderful fabrics.
