havanaholly Posted July 9, 2006 Share Posted July 9, 2006 This morning we gathered with other like-minded Florida Trail Association members for an 0815 hike of slightly over three miles through the woods along the southern shore of our nearest lake. As we were toiling along with the two forestry rangers who were our guides I kept picking up the leaves they discarded after telling us about a particular tree and one of the rangers, a very young woman, commented about it. I told her eventually I was going to find some leaves that I hoped would stay pliant long enough (they didn't, alas!) for me to make plaster castings for molds for polymer clay dollhouse furniture and it turns out she has two dollhouses and knew nothing of online forums (she does now...).
