Adorabelle
Hello, I've been trying to read the tutorials in the Tiny Tips section of the Dollhouse Universe section of the website. They used to work. Now, they have stopped working. I just get a very long error message that I can't understand, regardless of which one I try to read. I went there for the electricity one, but tried to load the others as well, to see if it was an isolated incident. Would someone please fix this? I don't know why they don't work for me right now. Am I the only one who can't see them? Thanks, Adorabelle
havanaholly
Dean or Tracy, this is the error message: Server Error in '/' Application. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unable to cast object of type 'ASP.ANMviewercontrol' to type 'ASP.ANMviewercontrol'. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. Exception Details: System.InvalidCastException: Unable to cast object of type 'ASP.ANMviewercontrol' to type 'ASP.ANMviewercontrol'. Source Error: The source code that generated this unhandled exception can only be shown when compiled in debug mode. To enable this, please follow one of the below steps, then request the URL: 1. Add a "Debug=true" directive at the top of the file that generated the error. Example: <%@ Page Language="C#" Debug="true" %> or: 2) Add the following section to the configuration file of your application: <configuration> <system.web> <compilation debug="true"/> </system.web> </configuration> Note that this second technique will cause all files within a given application to be compiled in debug mode. The first technique will cause only that particular file to be compiled in debug mode. Important: Running applications in debug mode does incur a memory/performance overhead. You should make sure that an application has debugging disabled before deploying into production scenario. Deb
The DU site is down right now but Dean is aware of it. There's a lot of changing going on at the main site so give the folks at GL a little time to get the dust settled after the construction has ended. Adorabelle, the wiring article that you're looking for can be found in this issue of the Gazette: http://www.greenleafdollhouses.com/dollhou...s-FEB-2009.html Hope that helps! havanaholly
The Dollhouse Universe is a great one-stop-info source, and I'll be glad when it's back; but with all the new goodies rolling into the GL store, I'm not surprised.
