havanaholly
I read this very sad post from Molly Cromwell in the Small Stuff Digest this AM: Was saddened to hear of Flora GIll Jacobs death last Tuesday from the Kummerows I had the doubly good fortune not only to get to visit her incredible collection at the Washington, DC, Doll & Toy Museum before it closed, but to meet Ms Jacobs in the shop afterwards and thank her for sharing her treasures with the world. What a sweet and gracious lady! Her books are truly gold mines of information for the serious mini collector.

vickivartan
I'm so sorry, there is a bit of a blessing she was able to know where her collection was going during her life time. . My first visit to the Museum, locals didn't even know it was across the street from them. Second visit was a treat, she was selling items a friend from California had made. I love dollhouse museums, hers so special, she so friendly,. Vicki
