minibuilder
Hi Just joined today and wanted to say hi. I live in Massachusetts I'm 47 and got into minis about 3 years ago after my husband got real sick and became a totally disabled Marine Vietnam Veteran. I love Greenleaf and Corona because I find them a garage sales alot and to me they are more of a challenge to build and make look really good. Hope to make some new friends here
havanaholly
Hi, minibuilder, Welcome to the Greenleaf forum, I think you're going to have a lot of fun. My first two kits were Dura-Craft, and then the Corona Buttercup, which was a bear to build because the quality was not great (the company is now back in the original owners' hands), but when I got to the Sugarplum things began to look up. I've noticed a huge improvement lately. DH was in the Corps in the late '60s & DS#1 is retiring later this year a Major. We spent a couple of days in NH & MA last October winding down a 3-month retirement trip; what a glorious time of year! to visit New England. We cycled the railtrail from just S of Nashua and another day went to Concord to visit Walden Pond & the Old North Bridge.
shutterbugkc
Welcome, Minibuilder! Isn't it great to find a lonely dollhouse sitting in its box at a garage sale, just begging for someone to put it together?
