Lois Kelley
Hello! I am very new to the forums and am the proud owner of a Pierce Dollhouse Kit (my sweet husband bought me the kit for Christmas!) I am thinking that I do want to "brick" the exterior of the house and am considering Paperclay... Does anyone have any idea how much I would need to buy?... Any other suggestions/tips for achieving a similar brick appearance would be most welcome (especially if it is more budget friendly!) I also considered stucco with ornamental stone masonry (but again, do not know how much stucco the house would req
Lois Kelley
Oops... Cut me off somehow...Sorry! Anyway, I do not know how much stucco the Pierce would require and my husbanddid not think stucco would be a good choice... Thank you so much for any help or suggestions!!! Sincerely, Lois
rbytsdy
Hi Lois, "Minis On The Edge" did this (stone effect)-- I think she said in her Pierce blog here how many blocks of paperclay she used... Looking forward to seeing a brick Pierce!
Peggi
Another alternative is to order a brick stencil and brick compound from here. The stencil is reusable so you can use it for future projects. Also I'm playing around with using putty for the brick compound. You could also check out the Magic Brik system.
