Laurelmommy
Hi- Im doing the Laurel and was wondering when is the best time to put siding on.I have everything out of the box and prepped and am boggled about the siding issue. Is it easier to do it flat or when assembled?
Minis On The Edge
I personally put it on after I assemble it. When it is assembled, it is easier to line up the siding (You don't want it starting too low on one side and higher on the front of the house). That's why I do it after assembly. It's near the bottom of the first page.
Nameless1
After assembly! A happy bonus of any surface treatment is that it hides both the tab-and-slot joins and any little imperfections that might arise in assembling the house. wenlaine
The siding is my most favorite part of building. I save mine till the end, like putting the icing on the cake. Wendy
Laurelmommy
Should I put it on before I finish the porch or do you all think that I can work around it?
LPCullen
Definitely before the porch.
