luminary

WyckedWood

I made a paper bag luminary today, Id like to wire these in all the way up the steps. Picture the steps in brick, with a little snow piled up in the corners. I think it'll be really cute.

Theyre not quite as bright in person as they appear in this picture...the glow seems a little overwhelming here but its a nice soft light seen with the eyes and not the camera.

Thanks Selkie, are there different size bulbs? lol ! I have no idea, it was just a candleflame 12v bulb that I had taken out of a lamp I wasn't using. Id love to find smaller bulbs if possible though, Id like an even softer glow. My husband says its a fire hazard, but the light isn't touching the bag at all and once finished I'll fill the bag partially with sand to make sure the bulb cant touch.

You might want to try an LED bulb. They don't produce heat and wouldn't be a fire hazard. You can paint the tips to get the glow color you like. My question had referred to like GOR or some tiny bulb like that.
