It is very promissing though....Like vintage dollhouses!

Alexander, this house is a real beauty. The wood is real, too, and solid; ply I think but much heavier-duty than the stuff used to make GL and Corona houses. This of course makes it very weighty, but that adds to its charm.

I've truly fallen in love with it. I hear it speak to me now, oh yes! The wee girl for whom it was made is now 11 years old and lost interest in it a few years ago. Her aunt (the seller and parcel-tape wielder!) told me that Ellie is ''happy it's gone to a loving home'. Awww! I sent her a wee surprise gift.

This house is different to any other I've ever seen. I will do my 'beginner' best to bring the old girl back to life.
