Sad Chandelier

kellyannmo

I simply can not tell you how many times I tore this thing apart... finally I used some jewelry glue to help keep some of the beads in place.... put now several of the strands are too long... grrrrr.... 25 seed beads per strand should all be the same length... somehow they are not.... I'm not sure how I am going to fix it now since some stuff is glued in place... and the entire thing was strung on 1 strand of beading thread... so cut one and it all falls apart.... so for now it's staying as is until I feel the desire to pull it back apart again.....

Kelly, it's really pretty as it is, but I understand it doesn't match your vision. Seed beads are not all the same. I've done a lot of beading and they can be a challenge.

I will most likely pull it all apart again tomorrow.... hope I don't wreck what is glued... but??? this house will be for sale once it's finished, and I can't leave that chandelier like that.... maybe I'll just cave and buy a simple Houseworks one....

I like this chandelier too, Morgan is right, cheaper manufactured ones just never look as good as a hand crafted light.
