A Newberg Christmas "Surprise" for our niece

A $15 garage sale find that I decided to "build" for my niece (now that I have the time, ha ha). Young nieces don't care that the roof and front porch aren't on, or that the door is missing - just that it is three shades of pink and it's a dollhouse! Finishing it this week during Christmas break.

The best part was find a string on miniature LED lights and miniature iridescent tinsel with tiny plastic white snowflakes at Craft Mart.

We presented it to her Christmas day, and the exhilaration of a running jump and hug so tight I could not breathe was priceless...

Thank you to everyone who kept me going through un-square pieces and crooked corner posts. I discovered the wonders of spackling compound, glue and paint and bless the dollar store for sanding blocks! I am so thankful for this forum.

What a beautiful house and precious memory.

By the way, I wouldn't care about the missing door, and unfinished porch and roof either. I too would give you a hug for that! - Merry Christmas!
