Playing with furniture in 2nd floor bedroom

I got this bedroom set from my husband about 10 years ago. It was about 1/5 of the regular price because the bed was broken. I fixed the bed tonight and decided to see how everything fit in what I consider the master bedroom of the house.

I don't know how people could live with such tiny spaces!!! I had to shove my armoire into the bay window and everything is so squished together. I was not happy with this arrangement (or any others I could come up with).

When I was younger I dreamed of moving to a big city, buying a big scary old house and living there all by my eccentric self, scaring the neighbor kids for fun. In my imagination this dollhouse is the house I would have lived in if I would have actually choosen that other life. Since it will just be imaginary mini me living in this house I got to thinking... Really how hard would it be to remodel it into something I like better?

Let the demolition begin!!!!!!

I think the reason my husband encourages my dollhouse habit so much is so that I leave the furniture alone in our real house. He HATES when I rearrange stuff - and I love to try new things! Our first home he even screwed the couches to the floor with L brackets when he came home one night and ran into the love seat that wasn't where it was supposed to be!
