I love Jane Austen, too!

There is a TV series called LOST IN AUSTEN. I bought it cheap on Amazon (DVD). It is WONDERFUL. A modern girl who adores Pride and Prejudice suddenly finds Elizabeth Bennett in her bathroom! In that room is a wall panel that leads, she discovers, to the world of P & P. All the characters are there. Eliz. Bennett hates her Georgian world and wants to live in the present day. The girl in the book hates the modern day and wants to live in Regency times. So they swap places.

The plot of P & P is reworked to very funny effect. It's so well done, so well-acted and well- -scripted, I think yoú'll love it. I watch it regularly and it makes me laugh every time. The writer obviously adores Jane Austen, and this is a true hommage as well as a clever and witty re-working.
