I am assuming that the progression from old to new is Left to Right? And the new color is the tan?

Love it! Our kitchen is a similar color. I like the way it makes the cream trim 'pop' and it really makes the arched doorway stand out more.

yeah. I actually put the dates in the top pictures but it came out kind of small. The Left is when we moved in in 2009 there was wallpaper that was stained and peeling. in 2010 we removed the paper and installed the wainscoting and painted the walls yellow and white kind of working off the 1970s yellow laminate countertops that we couldn't change. (we rent) I love the new colors so much better. the yellow only looked nice at a certain time of day. otherwise it looked like a highlighter. The current colors are "Woodmont Cream" for the wainscot and trim and cabinet above the fridge, and "Oat Straw" for the walls. Both by Benjamin Moore but I had them color matched at Lowes using their mid-range "Valspar 2000" paint.

I'm thinking about asking the landlord if we can use that Rustoleum Countertop Transformations paint to get rid of that yellow laminate forever. lol

Looks great! Do the counters if you can; a friend of mine used it in her kitchen, and it's gorgeous!

What color did she use? I'm thinking about the desert sand color. it's got a tan base with flecks of black and white that I think would go well with the paint and appliances. I was also looking at the charcoal but I think it might be too dark with the black appliances and the dark wood cabinetry all along the one wall.
