well, it's a start :) & i'm having a lot of fun learning!

some of the wallpaper is not attached yet....i need to buy wall sconce adapters and be sure i put them in correctly before attaching all paper. no flooring done...just cut tile for one room.

i'm putting wainscoting in the bathroom and kitchen.... and having "fun" trying not to warp the wainscot/basswood when painting...

(the bathroom and kitchen will be on the right side of the house. the first and second levels in the front)

so far i've used Grandma Stover's glue (found at ac moore)and Yes (found at michaels) glue for wallpaper. they are both similar/same and worked really well. i did not dilute either --just applied with a credit card to spread. i have reg. wallpaper paste from h.depot--but was afraid to switch to it.

i need to take a pic of the ceilings. they turned out well...i think, anyway. i used a roll of (not sure what to call it) white wallpaper that's paintable and has raised designs on it...found it at lowes for about $11!) the only hard part was "centering" the square designs of the paper on the ceiling so it'd look even better

first time electrifying-- tools that really helped-- those scissors (called cir-kit forceps) that lock as you pick up the tiny brads. i also bought the "blue handled brad replacement tool" and used it some...but preferred the forceps.pilot hole punch, awl, mini drill, and small hammer are a must too. wish i'd bought that small swivel head flashlight by cirkit too...there were times my bendable lamp put shadows where i needed to see...
