They made the swings out of posterboard adn drew the swan details. Bottom of ride is made from upside-down dollhouse fan with a motor. It is hooked up to electrical and spins.

What a clever idea. You must be really good with electrical to pull off all the items you added to this layout. Can I borrow you sometime?

The electrical wasn't too hard, just stuff I had in my stash. The lamp posts were made from coffee stirrer straws and silver beads. I already had the motor, I hooked it up to a speed controller, and it is hidden in a green box marked "Electrical". :) I had planned on just plugging everything into a power strip, but then decided that would be ugly, so I just soldered everything to a piece of tape wire and covered that with grass. I did plug the motor into an outlet in case they needed to unplug that separate, as it was a bit wobbly.

I had planned to teach Lawson to solder, but after he sliced his finger open on a blade, I decided to just make them all watch and explain the concept.
