I like your color choice too. Is the exterior stucco?

No not stucco, it is some paper that I found in my local Cretan stationery shop. It is heavily embossed and gives the impression of mottled stone which is what has given me the idea for the Stony Maggie. As far as the colours are concerned I did have some help. My sister lives in England and so as a way of keeping an interest between us I send her photos of possible colour schemes etc and she makes her comments and recommendations. It is proving very successful so far.
