Dry fitting the porch railings. I bought turned posts (seen here in front to get an idea how it would look), and I had planned to use them with spindles to make a more finished railing for the porches. But with the laser cut wood, it's really smooth, even, and really nice looking. This house reminds me of a country farmhouse anyway, so I think I'm going to leave the rails, etc that come with the kit. I bought some trim strips to give them a little more dimension.
