Adams - Floors
The floors were given a light coat of mahogany brown stain with a light coat of walnut stain over it to kill some of the red. The store fixtures are stained with the same combination, only darker. We'll sand parts of the floor to show wear patterns by the counters and in the doorway. We didn't score board lines for three reasons: 1) the floor's already glued in place, so it would be been awkward; 2) the floor won't be easily seen, as fixtures and merchandise will be crowded; and 3) the floor will be rather dusty.
The inside walls will be primed white and then washed with cream and gray to simulate aging from the pot bellied stove and the dust of Texas.
