Verbascum plant and purple daisies

I made two plants from kits. The one on the left is a verbascum plant by The Miniature Garden, and the one on the right has three daisies by Bonnie Lavish with some greenery from A Little More in Miniatures.

I've made the daisies before. They are quick and easy to put together. The aged and mossy pot was purchased.

The verbascum plant took longer, but the results are lovely. The kit had a lot of steps but it was very easy to follow and didn't take as long as I thought it would. :] I put it in a terracotta pot I painted and glazed. Both plants have styrofoam inserts under Earl Grey tea dirt.

We have verbascum around here that are 7 ft, tall, They grow along the walking path like towering sentries. I didn't know what they were until now. I don't know if they grow that tall everywhere, but they are quite impressive here. Your mini verbascum looks very much like the real thing.

Thank you! Even the kit called for a tall plant, though not as tall as the ones you've described. I wanted it in this particular pot, so I made it about an inch shorter than the kit instructions indicated. :)
