The kit I used for the stove (Realife Miniatures kitchen) had a small hole for the window and no shelving on the inside. That bugged me the longer I looked at it so I took the door off and made the window hole bigger. That made it necessary to make a shelf. The lack of heating element was another nagging whisper so some thick cotton thread coated with glue for shape and then coated with several coats of copper metallic paint. The unpainted strips of wood you see here are painted black now and hold the shelf up off of the heating element.
