Fireplace Hearth

The top hearth is the one that was in the house. You can't tell from the picture, but it is covered with paper with a small brick pattern on it. I decided to try to make a new hearth. This was my first attempt. I don't think it came out too bad!

I bought 1/24 scale bricks from England and I have to use a tweezer to pick them up and place them. It's taking me forever. I'm putting in a lot of love into this house as I see you are too!

I didn't know they had 1/24 scale bricks. I had found these at Hobby Lobby. It was actually a container with all different colored little tiles, the glue, and the grout. Yep, I have learned tweezers are my friend!! Are you bricking your whole house?
