Please advise me

Debora59

This is cardboard plant starters container like egg crate but bigger. I like the texture and I can cut it to my own pattern. But will it take paint and sealer? more than one color of paint, What kind of glue is best secure to the exterior of the manor. Its going to be alot of work I am anxiously awaiting anyones advise who has worked with egg crate material before. Thanks! ,

Thank you, yes its just paper, and thats why I thought I could have issues when it gets wet, any comments welcome especially if you have experience with this material, I look forward to hearing your results!

I've never worked with this stuff... but do a test sample. Paint a few pieces and glue them to a piece of scrap wood.

I would definitely do a test sample first and apply the paint in thin coats.

Great idea for pavers/stones. Those are going to look great.

Someone used these the other day.

Doesn't look like she's painted them yet though.

but I would think they would paint the same as egg cartons. Which I know people have used paint and washes on those. But a sample would still be best, to get the right color combo you want.

This is going to look wonderful on this house, can't wait to see it! :)

Those are my pics bluebear linked above, and my inspiration is actually from Cynthia's (cjme63) Beacon Hill. Like her, I cut blocks and glued them close together using Modge Podge so I wouldn't need mortar. I also liked the look of the raw paper, and have simply Modge Podged them to seal them. You can get a better idea of what they should look like from Cynthia's album.

Its kind of amazing, because it was Cynthia's Beacon Hill work that inpired me [ more like totally knocked me off my feet ] and caused me to join Greenleaf and begin my miniature adventure all together!
