I thought I'd packed it well enough. I guess I did. It only came apart at every seam rather than just snapping. I was so discouraged when I unpacked it that I packed it away and didn't touch it again for 10+ years.

It took my 7 years to finish my first dollhouse. Luckily I hadn't bought a whole bunch more kits in the meantime like I have now, so I was determined to finish it, lol. I like your colors - what kit is this? It is really cute

It's the DuraCraft Ashley. I think that it pretty much needs to be completely gutted, even the windows as they are yellowed. Shame because I do like the etchings on them.
