The great room coming along

I'm still having a hard time with space planning - yours is looking wonderful. I really love the colors and the wood, makes it so cozy

thank you I live in the woods in real life, so I guess I just naturally lean towards this look.... the space planning was a bit of a challenge in this house, I agree. I just pretended the area behind the stairs was the "kitchen" and then it all kinda fell into place.... for a small house there is a lot of room thankfully.
