Bogie

I was supper inspired by the house in the movie "Holiday." I loved how the stone work showed in some of the interior scenes.

The wall is spackling (I did this before I discovered paperclay.) I like it better than the paperclay stonework I did over the fireplaces. This has more "rugged" texture to it. But carving out the stone is too dusty, and holding the drummel that long hurts my hand. So I definitely need to experiment and find ways to get the same effect with the clay.

The floor IS Paperclay. I have a picture of it unpainted in the gallery. I had never done this before. But it was a lot easier than I thought it would be.
