First and second-floor bay windows...

Mandystar

Even though you can't see it from here, I made a covered cushion for the second-floor bay window seat with a bit of gorgeous shimmery gold fabric that I found in one of my craft drawers. This bay window is permanently shut (not removable as suggested by Greenleaf), but you CAN see the cushion when you look right into the window! I haven't decided yet whether I want to keep the first-floor bay window in place, or let it move. It can't go very far even if I don't glue it in (you can only pull it out to clear the wall and then move it to the side -- because the porch roof, once in place, will block it from coming all the way out.
