The Garfield -- My First Dollhouse!

While I tried staying within the parameters of the instructions, I did my finishing (baseboards, crown moulding, etc) while I still had good access. I applied all the wallpaper before assembling the walls -- just did a dry fit to see where paper needed to overlap. I did a diagram for the house showing where I wanted the wiring to go, and I left flaps for where the tape wire would run and then glued the paper down over the wire. Working in stages like this also made it more fun since I wasn't just continuously punching and sanding and painting!
