Kitchen...

that's awesome!! I didn't install my light over the kitchen table area first and now I can't do it because of the outside window frame thingy I could take it apart but not sure I will. I will never get this house done whew!

The light is wired through the ceiling, with the connection (to tape wire) on the floor above. I put all the carpeted floors on a cardboard template, and then laid it over the bare (wired) floor -- so I can just pick it up if something goes wrong with the wiring. If you can get to the floor over the kitchen, maybe you can still do this. I screwed up at one point, and wound up running wire right around and outside the house wall! I'm using stucco anyway, which will cover it!
