KathieB 6,117 Posted October 11, 2011 Scale is not too big. In the olden days ( ), glass was not made in large sheets. The small pieces were leaded together to form a larger pane. Wide leading reduced the need for many pieces. Glass was expensive; lead was cheaper. Quote Link to comment
