Yes clamps and Aleenes tacky glue pics seem to be a theme! BTW your hammer looks comfortable!

it was actually working, that beam didn't want to sit in the slot without a little extra incentive I've actually moved on from the tacky glue, this house is built with good old fashioned wood glue, the joints will be there long after the rest of the house has disintegrated lol.

I'm with you, wood glue seems to be the only way to go. This may be to our demise, have you ever tried to take apart a joint? Might as well set it aside and start over!

BTW that "clamp" is a bit overkill, don't you think???
