1/12 scale portico

mesp2k

I cut the 45 degree angles with an Xacto miter: the 'U' shaped base and the lower corners of the roof. The peak angle is 30 degrees, cut with a mini table saw. I used Tiny Trim TT17 for the base and TT14 for the roof. I saved some money because I cut the TT14 down the center creating two identical, smaller moldings for the price of one! Instead of individual boards, I think I will cut radiating grooves on a solid piece of wood for the sunburst. Also the arched ceiling can be grooved and made out of one piece of 1/16" wood, then easily bent.
