Front, Gluing on siding...

mesp2k

I put the window casings, door casing and corner trim in place so I could do the siding. I marked the siding on the left half of the front wall - with a utility knife instead of a pencil - its more precise and no smudges, then I trim the siding with an miter box and saw, clean up the edges with a sanding block, run a thin bead of glue on the wall and a line of tiny super glue droplets on the bead of wood glue, I hold it down for 20 seconds - the super glue holds the siding in place while the wood glue sets in about 20 minutes. (this is a Rik Pierce trick.) Then I move to the right half of the front and continue up the wall from left to right...no clamping needed smile.gif
