Eggshell rocks

I've been playing around with the idea for an Easter egg house for a long time. I did some samples with dyed shells, but wasn't happy with the confetti look that resulted. I'd painted some to look like real stones (helps if you don't look too close and/or squint), so why not purple ones? The technique needs a lot of work, but I'm intrigued by it. Fortunately, I like eggs. :ohyeah:

It looks great! Wanna in El Paso used eggshells in a couple of projects on her website, I think yours look just as good. I even like the color.

Thank you! No matter how I try, when I get done making egg carton stones all I see are egg cartons. Eggshells can be cracked into all kinds of shapes and I like the randomness.
