I think Fiberboard is the brand name. It is 3/8 inch thick.

Yeah, I wondered because their website says "birch plywood" for the walls, so I was surprised when you said fiberboard. Of course, once it's all covered up with paper, paint, paperclay, or what have you, who's going to care what's underneath as long as it's sturdy.

So is this going to be a farmhouse, or what are you planning?

It is really sturdy, and I don't see as many fuzzies as with MDF. Very early days yet, but I'm thinking a nice little stone country house
