The wood this laser cut half scale kit is made from is much harder than the wood the mill is made from. I had to buy a Dremel Trio to cut the holes in the attic floor, as an exacto knife just wasn't working.

I can't wait to see the Chantilly with a cathedral ceiling. Great idea because the attic is really unusable (except for storage.

The chimney looks very nice. The Chantilly has the most realistic chimney of any house I think. My full size Chantilly has the Unusable attic but the chimney looks perfect in it. I just use the attic for storage boxes etc.
