Do you have a miniature tool that does this, is a lathe what I am thinking of?

My husband has been telling me I would want one someday, Just checked and they are pricey. $499

yeah pricey indeed, i got mine off ebay for i think 600 all together, then had to also buy a 4 jaw chuck for it as well to do the spindle work, and yeah you can do tons of work with a lathe if you know how,.. very useful tool
