Brushed nickel hardware

Here's the view from inside the garage into the kitchen, and the living room beyond. The garage side of the door is painted grey; the kitchen side is white.

The doorknobs are the white enameled kind from HBS, and the doorplates are brass from Clare Bell Brass. I sprayed the doorplates with flat black and then used Valspar Odds 'n' Ends Fast Dry Enamel in Chrome on both the primed doorplates and the "as is" white doorknobs. I wouldn't call the finish 'mirror chrome' but it works well as a mimic for a brushed nickel finish.
