The wood that is held on by clothespins, is this the same stuff you can finish edges with by applying heat when building furniture?

debora... that is basswood, same thing i use for all the framing. it's just been boiled in hot water so it can be bent. my wife thought i was making supper, but no just boiling wood. cook it like potatoes, then bend to radius you want before it cools. most wood will bent pretty well...ron
