I decide to make this room the kitchen build a false wall to put the appliances against. But, I lost the space that was the bay window. I built the island for the sink but in hindsight, it would have been more appropriate to put the stove in the island, expecially with the pot-rack hanging right above.

True about the stove, perhaps, but I just love the stove hood as you have it!
