That's beautiful. How bout taking a wire cutter and making a very small triangle or slit in the bottom piece for the wire to fit through?

Hmmm,my comment disappeared...here goes again..I was thinking of an awl-then you could bang a small hole near the base and stick the wire through. Then I said that I love the blues you come up with like in the Chandelier,this lamp and the lucious wall-

Thanks! The metal on the base is pretty thick, but I'll see if I can find anything that will penetrate it. Thanks for the ideas. I should have thought more on it before I wired it into the house, I was just so anxious to get it in!

And Llyn, yes I do love that turquoise blue, you don't see a lot decorated in that. I actually have my real life kitchen also decorated in turquoise but with red, it matches my West German furniture and house perfectly! So I guess that is my "signature" color, too funny!
