First of all, I know that NOTHING in this bedroom matches... the paper is ivory, green & red which completely clashes with the much-loved blue & white lingerie chest which both clash with the cranberry colored fixtures. Oh, and all the furniture is cherry not walnut. :doh:

But keep in mind that I'm using stuff I already have on hand. There's no way I'm not using that chest and I LOVE the paper AND the lights. Its my house and I can do what I want!!! :ohyeah:

I love that paper, too. It's arts and crafts - like William Morris. Arts and crafts is my favorite design period and I want to do a whole house with it. Our real life houses don't always match, and I think a little mismatch actually makes a DH look more home-y. Plus, you are right, it is a fantastic piece and you can do whatever you want! Love it.
